Catherine Karrman-Bailey

I am registered with the Health and Care Professions Council and am a member of the Royal Society of Speech and Language Therapists and the Association of Speech and Language Therapists in Independent Practice.

Following on from a degree in Biochemistry, BSc (Hons.) and research at Stockholm University, I did a Post Graduate Diploma in Clinical Communication Studies. I have 25 years of clinical experience across a range of health and education settings, working with children and young adults. I have planned and run inset training and a variety of workshops. Among many other subjects, training has included: Word Learning and the Word Learning Tool Kit, Social Stories and Speaking and Listening Skills for Teenagers. I am a committee member of a Clinical Excellence Network.
